These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your purchase and use of digital study tools ("Products") sold by Ratana Hem ("we," "us"), operating as RationalePrep, based in California, USA. By purchasing or using a Product, you agree to these Terms.
Each Product is a downloadable digital study tool (an HTML file) delivered immediately after purchase. Nothing physical will be shipped. Because Products are delivered instantly and cannot be "returned," all sales are governed by the Refund Policy below.
Your purchase grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Product for your own exam preparation. One purchase licenses one person. You may keep copies on your own devices and print material for your own use. You may not:
Each purchased copy is digitally stamped with the buyer's name and order number. Unauthorized distribution terminates your license and may result in legal action.
Products are independent study aids. We do not guarantee that you will pass any examination, and results depend on your own preparation. Products are not clinical, legal, or licensing advice, and are not a substitute for official exam materials, supervision, or professional judgment.
We are not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB), the Association of Marital & Family Therapy Regulatory Boards (AMFTRB), the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS), the National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN), NASW, AAMFT, CCAPP, or any licensing or certification body. All exam and organization names are trademarks of their respective owners, used only to describe what our Products help you study for. Our Products do not contain actual examination questions. Products do not provide continuing-education (CE/CEU) credit.
We may release updated versions of Products (for example, when exam outlines change). Updates for a Product you purchased are provided free of charge to the email used at purchase.
All Product content — questions, rationales, explanations, mnemonics, design, and code — is our intellectual property, protected by copyright. Purchasing a Product transfers no ownership of that content to you.
Products are provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, and our total liability for any claim relating to a Product is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including exam outcomes.
Payments are processed by third-party processors (e.g., Gumroad). We never see or store your card details. The processor's own terms also apply to your transaction.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remain in effect. We may update these Terms; the version posted at the time of your purchase applies to that purchase. Questions: admin@rationaleprep.com.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing. We share data only with the service providers needed to run the business (payment processor, email delivery service), and only what they need to function.
You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it (except records we must keep, such as purchase records for tax purposes). California residents have these rights under the CCPA. To exercise them, email admin@rationaleprep.com — we respond within 30 days and do not discriminate against anyone exercising their rights. We do not sell personal information as defined by the CCPA.
Purchase records are retained as required for tax and accounting. Email-list data is kept until you unsubscribe. We use reputable providers with industry-standard security, but no system is perfectly secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Our products are for adult licensing candidates. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
We want you to buy with confidence — and we also sell instantly-delivered digital goods that can't be returned. Here's the balance we strike:
If a Product isn't what you expected — it doesn't open on your device, the content isn't what the product page described, or it otherwise fails to deliver what we promised — email admin@rationaleprep.com within 7 days of purchase with your order number. We will first try to fix the problem (most issues are a two-minute fix); if we can't make it right, we'll refund your purchase in full.
We publish free 20-question samples of every tool so you can evaluate the real content and format before spending anything. We encourage you to try them first.
Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method through our payment processor, typically within 5–10 business days. Refunded orders terminate the license for that copy.
